A dramatic entrance is the order of the day and Year 11 pupils from Oriel High didn't disappoint last Thursday night.
There was everything from a fire engine to a Harley Davidson motorbike on show before the party at the Copthorne Hotel Effingham Gatwick.

Teenagers at the Maidenbower school also turned up in an array of impressive sports cars, a bus and an army truck.
Ryan Sallows, Oriel High's business manager, said: "Preparing for the prom is no longer just about finding the perfect dress or suit, the novelty of making the best entrance possible is a big part of the night.
"One year we had students arrive on space hoppers and word spreads through the school. The next year group want to try and better it.
"It is the perfect venue because there is a driveway undercover where relatives can take photos and watch all the students arrive.
"This year the bus stood out for us when we saw all the students streaming out of it."
There were also fun awards handed out including for the best dressed student and the pupils most likely to become teachers.
Mr Sallows added: "At the end of the night and the days following the prom it hits home to the student that it was the last occasion they will all be together as a group."
Philip Stack, the school's head teacher, said: "I have always been very proud of them and their achievements and never more so than at our prom."
